    HAN Jun, Ph.D, is an assistant research fellow and CAS special research assistant in National Astronomical Observatories, Chinese Academy of Sciences. His research interests include astronomi-cal information technology, cloud computing, distributed storage and computation of massive data and virtual observatories.

    FAN Dongwei, Ph.D, is an associate researcher and Master’s tutor in National Astronomical Observatories, Chinese Acade-my of Sciences. His research interests include astron-omical information technology, virtual observatory, cloud computing, and astronomical big data processing.
    In this paper he is mainly responsible for the technical arch-itecture design and implementation including the development framework, permission mechanism, user management modules and some auxiliary modules.     TAO Yihan, Ph.D, is currently an assistant research fellow and CAS special research assistant in National Astronomical Observatories, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Her research interests include machine learning and data mining on astro-nomical data, astroinformatics, and virtual observatories.

    本文中主要负责内容管理模块与曝光时间计算器的研发和集成。
    XU Yunfei, Ph.D, is an assistant researcher at the National Astronomical Observatory of the Chinese Academy of Sci-ences, deputy leader of the Technology Research and Deve-lopment Group of the National Astronomical Science Data Center. He participates in the scientific application system re-search and development work of the Chinese Academy of Sci-ences space astronomy satellite Einstein Probe (EP), China Spa-ce Station Telescope (CSST) and other space projects. His research interests include timedomain astronomical data analysis, multi-messenger astronomical observation planning, and massive astronomical data Visualization.

    LI Shanshan is a research assistant in National Astronomical Observatories and member of IAU Data-driven Astronomy Education and Public Outreach (DAEPO) working group. She is in charge of education and public outreach at Astronin-fomatics Research Group(Virtual Observatory). Her research interests include virtual observatory, astronomical informatics, and astronomical data visualization.

    MI Linying, master’s degree, is an engineer at the National Astronomical Observatory of Chinese Academy of Sciences. Her research interests include astron-omical information technology and application of virtual observatory.

摘要:

【应用背景】500米口径球面射电望远镜(FAST)是国家“十一五”重大科技基础设施建设项目。随着FAST的落成,如何对外提供观测服务,成为FAST必须要解决的关键需求。【方法】文章首先介绍了FAST对外开放的技术需求和面临的挑战,然后介绍信息系统的框架结构及功能模块,主要包括用户管理、内容管理、观测申请评审、项目管理、数据中心五个核心模块及辅助模块。【结论】经过用户实际使用,FAST科学观测项目管理信息系统的应用效果符合预期,有效满足了FAST对外开放的功能需要,提升了观测运行效率。

Abstract:

[Background] Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical radio Telescope is the Major science and technology infrastructure construction project during the 11th Five-Year Plan period. With the completion of FAST, how to provide observation service for scientists has been the key issue to solve. [Methods] The article first introduces technical requirements and the challenges for international open faced by FAST and then presents the system framework and function module, including user management, content management, observation application and review module, project management, data center, and auxiliary module. [Conclusions] Through practical use, it has been proved that this system can effectively meet the expected goals and the functional needs, and makes observation more efficient.
