    Wang WenSheng, Ph.D., acts as the deputy director of Information Center of Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of the People’s Republic of China, chief expert of cooperation project between Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and Ministry of Science and Technology in the rural information field, group leader of review group of Expert Committee for State Rural Information of Ministry of Science and Technology, expert of Expert Committee for Agricultural Internet of Things of Ministry of Agriculture, deputy director of Specialized Committee for Central Agriculture and Forestry of the Jiusan Society, distinguished expert of All-China Federation of Returned Overseas, executive vice chairman of Computer Application Branch of Chinese Association of Agricultural Science Societies, vice chairman of Specialized Committee for High and New Technology of China Agro-technological Extension Association, vice chairman of Chinese Society of Foreign Agricultural Economy, executive director of China Rural Special Technology Association, vice chairman of Committee for Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences of the Jiusan Society, vice chairman of Beijing Returned Overseas Chinese Scholars Federation, and member of the 8th and 9th CPPCC in Haidian District, Beijing.
    In this paper, he is responsible for the architecture design, application analysis and conclusion forecast.

    Guo Leifeng, Ph.D., acts as the deputy director of Modern Agriculture Information Service, Agriculture Information Institute, CAAS, chief assistant for Agriculture Big Data Research and Service Innovation Team of CAAS, member of Computer Application Branch of Chinese Association of Agricultural Science Societies and YPARD Chinese Technical Officer. He has experienced several national-level research projects such as National Science and Technology Support Program “Research and Application of Cloud Storage and Cloud Computing Technology for Rural Information Service” (2013BAD15B02) funded by Ministry of Science and Technology; and Public Sector (Agriculture) Scientific Research Funding Program “Integration and Demonstration of Agricultural Extension Service Based on ICTs” (201303107) funded by Ministry of Agriculture. His research interests are rural agriculture big data and smart farming technologies.
    In this paper, he is responsible for the analysis of key technologies and applications.

摘要:

【目的】农业是大数据技术应用的重要领域。本文旨在综述大数据在农业领域的应用重点和方向,对农业大数据关键技术进行思考,推动农业大数据发展。【方法】对大数据技术进行整体介绍,从精准农业、农业物联网、农业遥感等关键领域提出了农业大数据发展需求和特点。【结果】从政府和学术角度,对农业大数据内涵和特征进行整理,介绍了农业大数据获取、管理和处理相关关键技术,分析了大数据精准农业智能控制、大数据农业生产环境监控、大数据农情遥感监测预警等应用现状和特点。【局限】作为大数据应用的重要领域之一,农业大数据在数据平台、管理机制、技术支撑等方面有待进一步加强。【结论】农业大数据将是下一步农业农村创新发展的重要方向,将会对重塑农业生产关系、构建农业信息化生态系统、完善乡村治理体系、助力绿色农业发展等起到重要作用。

Abstract:

[Objective] Agriculture is an important area for big data technology applications. By reviewing and analyzing the focuses and directions of big data applications in agriculture, we want to find an effective way to promote the development of agricultural big data technologies. [Methods] This paper introduces the big data technology from a holistic perspective, and puts forward the development demands and characteristics of agricultural big data from the key fields including precision agriculture, agricultural Internet of things, agricultural remote sensing and so on. [Results] In this paper, the definition and characteristics of agriculture big data technologies are analyzed from the perspective of government and academia. The key technologies related to the acquisition, management and processing of agricultural big data are introduced. The big data based intelligent control of precision agriculture, agricultural production environment monitoring, agricultural remote sensing and early warning technologies are analyzed. [Limitations] As one of the important fields of big data applications, agricultural big data needs to be further strengthened in aspects of data platform, management mechanism, technology support and many others. [Conclusions] Agricultural big data research will be an important direction of agricultural and rural innovation and development in the next step. It will play an important role in reshaping agricultural production relations, building agricultural information ecosystems, improving the rural governance system, and helping the development of green agriculture.
