Abstract:

[Objective] As a crucial data element in agricultural production, scientific research, and agricultural government supervision, facility agriculture IoT data faces issues such as complex ownership, difficulty in traceability, and vulnerability to theft and tampering. This study designs an IoT data ownership confirmation method based on digital watermarking to address these challenges. [Methods] The method involves setting ownership data for facility IoT gateways, generating corresponding encrypted ownership information using the symmetric block cipher algorithm SM4. Based on the encrypted ownership information, watermark data is created and embedded into the original IoT data to achieve ownership confirmation of facility agriculture IoT data. [Results] The proposed approach of constructing watermark data for IoT data ownership confirmation is applied to IoT gateways for data traceability. The results demonstrate that the proposed method for IoT data ownership confirmation is effective. [Conclusions] The facility agriculture IoT data ownership confirmation method based on digital watermarking can effectively solve the problem of unclear data ownership. It not only enables traceability of data sources, but also enhances the security of facility agriculture IoT data.
