Abstract:

[Context] In order to promote the systematization and standardization of biodiversity monitoring in nature reserves, China Biosphere Reserve Network Wildlife Comprehensive Monitoring Program takes Guangdong Chebaling National Nature Reserve as a demonstration site and systematically develops a key technology integration and comprehensive information service platform for biodiversity monitoring, focusing on wild animals.[Methods] Based on the protected area transmission network, we have integrated multi-source sensors, multi-scale remote sensing, and intelligent terminal monitoring technologies and methods, carried out intelligent analysis and application of image and video data, satellite remote sensing, and drone images, geographic information data, and ecological monitoring data under the big data and cloud service environment, got through all links in the entire chain of monitoring data aggregation and analysis, and established an integrated research monitoring information service system for the nature reserve. [Conclusions] The relevant achievements and experiences will help improve the capability of scientific protection, scientific management, and scientific decision-making of nature reserves by promoting the standardization and intelligent construction of the scientific research and monitoring technology system.
