Reliability Evaluation Method for Power Dispatching Data Network

Abstract:

[Objective] The complex topology of the power dispatching data network, numerous equipment, large transaction flow data, and instability of the dispatching data network operation may eventually affect stability of a certain scale of the power grid. It is of great practical significance to evaluate the reliability of the static topology of the dispatching data network. [Methods] A reliability evaluation model based on dispatching data network structure is proposed. Firstly, based on the analysis of the topological structure of the dispatching data network, the connectivity reliability of the network is calculated by combining different connectivity reliability algorithms. At the same time, according to the regional importance, the reliability of the dispatching data network is weighted to obtain comprehensive reliability. The reliability obtained can be used as the basis of network optimization and reliability early warning. [Results] This paper takes the topological structure of a provincial power grid as an example to evaluate the reliability, and verifies the effectiveness and rationality of the evaluation method for the reliability of the dispatching data network. [Conclusions] The results show that the ring topology and parallel structure can effectively improve the network reliability and help the stable and rapid development of the production transaction of the dispatching data network.
